Chapter 14

Maya

I thought in my very short life, that I had seen everything. Well, not everything, but I had seen a hell of a lot more than most humans could say, and I know I had lived through more things by the time I was eighteen than what my Mom and Dad did. I had felt what it was like to leave my body, I had looked down on Earth whilst standing on the brightest star, I had seen the planets, I was anointed an Earthly leader amongst the real world.

I watched the movement of all the light and all the dark energy I had passed move through people. I watched my best friend’s lover be taken by the darkness. I’d been kidnapped by a Reptilian who had threatened to kill me, I had forgiven my captor. I’d watched my lover kill a man to save my captor’s family. I’d seen and understood my past lives. I’d experienced the fullness and depth of a true soul connection, unconditional love. I said my vows in marriage. And now, I was growing a tiny human… I really had thought that I had seen and felt through it all. But the weeks that had followed Callie and Sari’s awakening—at least, that’s what we were calling it; we couldn’t really think of anything else that fit—I never thought I would have seen the world this way.

Callie and Sari had full hold of the human power that laid within them. But the voice of that power told them not to react. Although Callie wanted to show everyone what they were capable of, she listened to the voice and kept calm. Sari and Callie only passed the newfound knowledge onto people who they had deemed ready for it. But as the weeks went on, the need to spread her inner knowledge of the human power was needed more than ever. The darkness that lingered was still thick, but one by one, people were falling back into visions of their past.

I had just hit twenty weeks. I was halfway through the pregnancy and for the first time in a long time, my life seemed simple, easy in fact. It was almost as though being a Starseed on Earth was becoming less and less important.

On a walk in town, I had watched the darkness completely unlatch from a human’s body, dissipating and sprinkling into dust, washing itself away in the wind. And it was doing it voluntarily, without mine or Cay’s guidance, without the need for me to take it away. I was beginning to question my role on Earth as a Starseed, but at the same time, the timing of it all couldn’t be more perfect. I was changing, my body was changing daily and so was what was important to me. For the first time amongst the chaos of scenes I was able to sit back, let them happen, trust the humans now knew how to guide themselves, so that I could focus on what was next most important to me, our child growing healthily inside of me.
